School Positions
Music Teacher - Full Time
Cantalician Center for Learning is seeking a Certified Music Teacher for its
   pre-school and school age program.
Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with a minimum of three years teaching
   experience with developmentally disabled children required.
Competitive salary and benefit package offered.


Art Therapist - Full Time
Cantalician Center for Learning is seeking a Certified Art Therapist for its pre-school
   and school age programs.
Master’s Degree in Art Therapy or Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in
   art therapy required.
Minimum of three years experience as an art therapist working with developmentally
   disabled children required.


Registered Nurses
Substitute registered nurses are needed to work in our schools.
Must have current NYS license and be CPR and AED certified.
Must be available to work Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. as needed.
Hourly rate of $12.86. Not eligible for benefits.


Substitute Teachers
Substitute special education teachers needed.
Teachers Certification Required.

Substitute Teacher Aides
High School Diploma or G.E.D required.

Substitute Teacher Assistants
Teacher Assistant Certification and college coursework needed.

SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST : Full Time
Working with special needs children in a center-based School–Age
   educational setting.
Enjoy a varied caseload and Multidisciplinary approach.
Min. req: Bachelors Degree, licensed Speech Therapist, must have TSHH or TSLD

Hours are 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.


PHYSICAL THERAPIST : FULL-TIME
Physical Therapist needed for School-Age program.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
   New York State Certified and American Physical Therapy Association
   Accreditation.
Salary mid $40’s subject to experience.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST : TEMPORARY
Temporary Physical Therapist needed starting September 7, 2010
   through November 23, 2010 for School – Age program.
Rate of pay is $26.00 per hour.
Hours 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Not eligible for benefits.

TEACHER ASSISTANTS
Immediate Teacher’s Assistants positions available.
Teacher Assistant Certification and college coursework needed.
Prior experience preferred. Competitive salary and benefit package.


TEACHER AIDES
Immediate Teacher’s Aide positions available.
High School Diploma or G.E.D required.

Workshop Positions
Coordinator of Adult Day Services: Full Time
Coordinator of Adult Day Services is responsible for managing, coordinating
   and supervising the service activities and staff of the Rehabilitation, Pre-Vocational
   and Day Habilitation Services; assures quality, continuity and comprehensiveness
   of services to individuals; and performs administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology
   or closely–related field, plus seven years full-time paid direct service providing
   services to developmental disabled adults and seven years supervisory responsibility.
Preferred: Masters Degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology
   or closely–related field, plus five years full-time paid direct service providing services
   to developmental disabled adults and five years supervisory responsibility.

Day Habilitation Specialist
Assists individuals receiving services in acquiring and/or maintaining the skills, personal
   habits and positive attitudes that will enable them to maintain and/or enhance their
   independence.
Associate's Degree in Human Services, plus one year of pertinent experience in providing
   services to developmentally disabled adults. Bachelors Degree in Human Services
   preferred.
Hours 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Salary $19,000. Competitive fringe benefit package.


Janitorial : FULL TIME
Full-time janitorial position at our Hertel Site from 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Prior janitorial experience required.
Responsible for cleaning of facility and building security.
Hourly rate of $9.00 per hour plus fringe benefit package.
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
